Who We Are, Other Events, and Places to Visit in Adams County
Adams County Nature Society, Inc.
The Adams County Nature Society is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to connecting people with the rich natural heritage of Adams County and the surrounding Appalachian foothills.
The Society will continue the tradition of the Amish Bird Symposium while expanding opportunities for people to learn about and enjoy the region’s birds, native plants, wildlife, forests, and other natural resources. Through educational programs, field trips, workshops, and special events, we hope to bring together people of all experience levels who share an interest in nature.
Our programs will be held throughout Adams County and neighboring communities, highlighting the remarkable biodiversity and landscapes of southern Ohio.
